New split mode features:
- Hold shift to lock axis in split mode (makes it easy to align splits across multiple regions)
- Drag to keep splitting (when the axis is locked)
New paint mode feature:
- Drag to paint across multiple regions
Other improvements:
- New checkbox to toggle the lines on/off (hotkey: back-tick (`) or tilde (~))
- Minor performance improvements
Also of note, a color-copy mode was added during the jam's rating-period (after checking with the jam host to confirm that this was fine).
This bumps the amount of dev time to ~7 hours (not including the time spent on the BSP & visual debug code that this is forked from).
Future features under consideration (just daydreaming, no promises) :
- A small undo stack (maybe 12 steps?)
- Change canvas size/aspect ratio
- Export as SVG file
- Save & load (maybe also using localstorage)
- Color palette, like MS Paint
- Grid/interval lock, to make it easier to space things evenly (if desired)
- Image overlay (either to add texture or use a reference image)
- Color-replace action (to swap/adjust all occurrences of a specific color)
- Put actual thought into rendering/redraw performance
- Put actual time into UI
- Put code on github
